Malcolm was one of 3 companies we had to quote for our roof. We chose Malcolm due to his professional attitude, efficiency, courtesy and itemised quote. He and his team worked diligently and informed us of any ‘problems’ that were not in the original quote. e.g. rotten rafters/purlins that could not be seen at the initial survey.
As we were not at the house during some of the period of work, photos were forwarded to us on a regular basis letting us know how the work was progressing. Malcolm also phoned regularly to update us – a nice touch. Work was carried out during February and therefore you are governed by the weather to a certain degree. However the work was completed within the time scale Malcolm originally said it would take.
At the conclusion of the work the inside of the house was cleaned and dusted – again a nice touch. The house now looks superb with the new tiles which are interlocked and secured to the rafters – together with the membrane to help stop water ingress. It is reassuring to know that we can now look forward to many years at the house with a secure roof. A blessing indeed.
