A big thank you to Strictly Roofing for the roof repairs for my property in Civray in October 2019. You have done a fantastic job, and the roof looks amazing. And the property was left in a spotless condition, and only took 2 weeks to complete!

The whole process from start to finish was so simple. Even though I was located in England whilst the work was progressing, both Dawn and Malcolm kept me up to date with the progress and before any additional work was undertaken, Malcolm would consult me first and send me picture evidence of the completed work. At no point in the process did I feel under pressure to have work done that wasn’t required.

Malcolm is very knowledgeable and very trustworthy.

I was also impressed by the way he could pull in other tradesmen, ie Electricians, plumbers and guttering specialists. All who again work to a high standard, and are completely trustworthy. We’ve just had a new roof constructed by Malcolm and his team. They came when they said they would, kept us informed throughout and made sure we were happy with all the stages of the work they did. As things turned out, it wasn’t a straightforward piece of work to do, but all the problems were found solutions, leading to us now having a great looking new roof! Strictly roofing did a fantastic job replacing our roof, the initial quote was competitive, Malcolm and his son came to measure and we were impressed with their professional attitude, answering all our questions and concerns.

The job was started on time, Malcolm and his team worked tirelessly stripping the old tiles, we were impressed with their work ethic and rate of progress. Malcolm bought any issues to our attention and made recommendations to solve problems, his experience was without question, so we happily went with his solutions! The roof is now finished and we are very pleased with the job. The site was cleared as requested and Malcolm ensured we were happy before leaving.

Malcolm also replaced the guttering on the roof in zinc, there was a slight leak on this and Malcolm sent someone to fix this the day after he was aware, so we are also very impressed with his support after the completed job – all in all we we would not hesitate in recommending Strictly Roofing.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to both yourself and Malcolm for the way you have conducted the work on my french property. Two years ago I engaged Malcolm to carry out repairs to one of my roofs. As is typical with french properties you are not always sure what will be revealed after providing the estimate.

Malcolm carried out the work in a very friendly but professional manner. Although the work was much more difficult and challenging than first anticipated, Malcolm kept me up to date with developments and discussed the various solutions. At the completion of the work I was more than pleased with the results.

When I had a problem with a second roof I had no hesitation contacting Malcolm to carry out the work. Malcolm surveyed the roof and gave advice of what was required. Once again the service and eventual work carried out to replace completely this second roof was outstanding. And you Dawn the Admin Manager, was above and beyond helpful and was largely responsible for the work being carried out in the first place, advising me how to navigate the french system with authorisation and form filling.

The work was completed this week March 2019 and once again I am pleased with the results. Malcolm was one of 3 companies we had to quote for our roof. We chose Malcolm due to his professional attitude, efficiency, courtesy and itemised quote. He and his team worked diligently and informed us of any ‘problems’ that were not in the original quote. e.g. rotten rafters/purlins that could not be seen at the initial survey.

As we were not at the house during some of the period of work, photos were forwarded to us on a regular basis letting us know how the work was progressing. Malcolm also phoned regularly to update us – a nice touch. Work was carried out during February and therefore you are governed by the weather to a certain degree. However the work was completed within the time scale Malcolm originally said it would take.

At the conclusion of the work the inside of the house was cleaned and dusted – again a nice touch. The house now looks superb with the new tiles which are interlocked and secured to the rafters – together with the membrane to help stop water ingress. It is reassuring to know that we can now look forward to many years at the house with a secure roof. A blessing indeed.

If you do decide to employ Malcolm then you will also be in contact with Dawn – Malcolm’s financial expert who again was very professional and efficient. We have no hesitation in recommending Strictly Roofing should you be in the position of requiring a new roof.

They gave me a reasonable quote and, once we’d sorted through the French bureaucracy, they were good to their word, keeping me updated through the project. Our thanks to Malcolm and his team for their excellent work in re-roofing our house.  Despite the terrible weather conditions in January, with the rain, wind and cold, they were still able to finish the job ahead of schedule.  During the wet periods they made sure the roof was watertight and on completion tidied up the garden and even cleaned out the gutters. Thanks to Dawn on admin.  It was nice to have things explained in English as it made it so much easier  to complete any French forms. We are delighted with our new roof and would have no hesitation in recommending Strictly Roofing to anyone who is in need of roofing.
